In 2009 a new modern designed knife became standard issue for all Swiss soliders. The knife features a serrated locking blade, Phillips head screwdriver and nine other functions.

Swissbianco in collaboration with Victorinox has created a limited edition utilizing the same configuration with two production changes.  A more user friendly plain edge blade and corkscrew that houses a mini flathead screwdriver.

In  memory of Mr. Horst Brunner, a great Swiss Army Knife (SAK) collector, we offer a special SAK based on his idea of adding firesteel to a Swiss Army Knife.  Victorinox, in collaboration with SwissBianco, has produced a limited run of Farmer SAKs with firesteel permanently attached on the backside of the knife. This makes the Farmer SAK more desirable for wilderness survival use.
